I do not think so.

There are four steps in astrology, and they must be followed in order.

1. Horary Astrology.
2. Natal Astrology.
3. Electional Astrology.
4. Mundane Astrology.

My students have taken about 12-14 months to learn horary astrology completely. An experienced person might take as little as 6 months.

Natal Astrology takes a couple of years to learn.

Electional Astrology must be learned after Natal Astrology, because an event cannot be elected unless it is present in the natal chart as a promise. 6 months maybe to learn the rules for this.

Mundane Astrology probably takes 2-3 years to learn the basics.

So, I think that is 1 yr, 2yrs, .5 years, and 2-3 years. If you had a competent teacher, it would 5 to 7 years to learn astrology. Competent teachers are rare, however.

If you are studying on your own, it will take a long time. There are also a lot of fake people out there and a lot of traps and false information. I recently met a man in his early 20s who told me he practiced mundane astrology. I asked him who his teacher was. He never had a teacher, and he had never studied horary astrology. I immediately dismissed him in my mind as deluded.

I should mention, too, that you can do almost everything with horary astrology.
