FACTS: Q’s sister was pregnant. The doctor told the sister that she would deliver the baby around November or December. Q cast the chart, asking: “How many days until my sister delivers her baby?” He asked the question and cast the chart on September 15th.
(1) What HOUSE and FIGURE belong to the Q’s SISTER?
(2) What HOUSE and FIGURE belong to Q’s SISTER’s CHILD?
(3) Just because Q’s sister is pregnant does not mean that she will give birth. Women have miscarriages, after all, and other accidents can occur. How do we know from this chart that Q’s SISTER will give birth to the CHILD?
(4) A general rule is to take timing from the figure of the QUESITED, here the CHILD is HOUSE 7. The figure is AMISSIO, which has the number 6. But, Q has asked about DAYS, so that can’t be right in the context of our FACTS. Even if the timing unit were different, AMISSIO doesn’t make sense as 6 weeks (which would bring us only to November 1) or 6 months (which is far too long for the context of the question). What should we do instead? Sakura correctly suggested combining the SISTER and the CHILD. After all, the birth of the child is going to depend on BOTH mother and child, anyway. What do we get combining AMISSIO and CAPUT?
(5) You now have your timing figure. There are two other features of the chart whereby the Holy Mother is trying to tell you that you are on the right track with that figure. What are the two other features?
(6) Our timing figure has a LESSER NUMBER of 79 and a GREATER NUMBER of 120. Which will we choose?
(7) What date will the sister give birth?

(1) Q’s SISTER is HOUSE 3 and the figure CAPUT.
(2) The CHILD of Q’s SISTER will be the 5th house from HOUSE 3, or HOUSE 7, where we find AMISSIO.
(3) We know Q’s SISTER will give birth to the CHILD because the chart PERFECTS. There is a CONJUNCTION. CAPUT in HOUSE 3 moves to HOUSE 8 to conjunct HOUSE 7.
(4) AMISSIO and CAPUT together yield PUER.
(5) (a) PUER is also BESIEGING HOUSE 1, the Querent. PUER is telling the Q, “look at me, look at me!” (b) The Witnesses and Judge are PUER (timing), CAPUT (sister), and AMISSIO (child).
(6) Our FACTS tell us that the SISTER will give birth in NOVEMBER or DECEMBER. We therefore cannot chose the number 120 because that number of days from September 15 will be around the middle of JANUARY. So, that cannot be right. We must therefore take the number 79. So 79 days.
(7) The SISTER will give birth around DECEMBER 3.

Date: 2021-12-13 05:25 am (UTC)Turns out that I was wrong about the 56 that I calculated because the actual sum of the chart was not 68 it was 90, which would have given 74 days, so I would have been of by 5 days which honestly isn’t much.
So from that information, is the concept of collections the number of points in the chart and than dividing the result by 96, to than multiple that new result by original value of the figure, irrelevant or not useful ? Sorry if my message feels convoluted

I believe that the two techniques were originally separate techniques, so I would not automatically combine them. If I came up with a number by the timing figure, alone, that did not fit within the context of the question, I might try counting up the dots of the 16 figures. In other words, I would combine the techniques as a last resort.

Date: 2021-12-16 09:42 am (UTC)1) My sister did give birth on December 4rd, shortly after the prediction (she started labour at 7PM on December 3rd).
2) the child was a girl - AMISSIO in house 7.
3) AMISSIO passes to house 11 where it is in CAPITAL COMPANY with puer. I determined that the child would be born between SATURN and MARS hours. The child was born shortly after midnight and before 1AM at a JUPITER hour, which Was exactly between SATURN and MARS. The reception of AMISSIO and PUER was Also CAPUT - a JUPITER planet. (planetary hours of a day last from 6am one day to 6 am the next day - so in terms of planetary hours it was still December 3rd)
The chart was right.

No big deal, the answers to all of your questions can be found in various places on this site. Nevertheless it will take you an awful a amount of time to find them all, and the magister isn’t really active lately so I’m gonna answer your questions. Also be careful what you read : I will directly quote the professor here (I will put quotes) but beware that sometimes he says things that are very important but he says them only once in the entire sub. Others you’ll figure out by yourself like CONJUCTIO popping up a lot as death in death chart or the fact that for some reason I myself still don’t Comprehend (but noticed quite often) CAPUT DRACONIS and LAËTITIA appear often as houses 1 and 7 in relationship charts together. So be careful what you read, a single sentence the master said once in a 2016 article might be the key to unlocking an entire chart. I talk a lot cause I Have ADHD so pardon my loquaciousness and let’s jump to the explanation.

Sometimes a bad figure can be be good. For exemple if you ask if you father will give you money, and he has ACQUISTIO in his house 2, that’s not necessarily good, because while it could mean he has money, it can also mean he is greedy as ACQUISITIO isn’t good for letting go of things.
Likewise, AMISSIO can also mean something going out or ending. In the context of giving birth, amissio could simply be her giving birth as she « let’s go » of the child.

There isn’t just that translation : there is an trine aspect of AMISSIO passing to house 11 and a collection of light between CAPUT in house 3 and AMISSIO in house 11 by PUER. There is also a square between AMISSIO IN HOUSE 11 and CAPUT in house 8. The reception between CAPUT and AMISSIO is PUER
Now PUER and the SQUARE might make you think that something is going to go wrong. However that’s not necessarily the case and I’ll come back to that in a minute.
CAPUT is one of the 4 figures of pregnancy (see judgement rule: pregnancy) so the chart is just relaying fact with CAPUT - that she is pregnant. The PERFECTION and ASPECTS simply how that that the EVENT WILL COME TO PASS ie she will give birth. That’s all. Not necessarily bad.
Now onto the SQUARE and the reception of PUER :
To quote the Master :

PUER simply means that she would go through a medical intervention to give birth. As for the SQUARE, it’s also pretty obvious : just like you can’t expect a relationship to be perfect, you can’t expect that a woman who is about to give birth after 9 months, and will probably get a few broken bones and excruciating pain for hours to find that easy. Also, AMISSIO is of the Venusian nature, amd it’s in company with CAPUT. the lesser and greater benefits are in action here. To affirm that the birth would go bad, we would have to have had RUBEUS or CAUDA or a company of one of them, which isn’t the case. Now if we were in the 17th century with no modern technology and no washing hands (washing hands greatly decreased the number of child death, I don’t remember when that was but the dude who discovered that was mocked by his peers who thought he was dumb to think that would change anything) I would be more inclined towards the « problematic childbirth » but with what we have today it’s really not that radical.
I hope I didn’t rant too much and made myself clear.
