A recent inquiry:
>> Hello sir, I don't know astrology. Please explain the planets and the nodes in relation to Geomancy. For instance, Astrology tells us that SATURN is a planet good for knowledge. Saturn corresponds to TRISTITIA, so presumably TRISTITIA is also good for knowledge, despite being a bad figure.
No planet and no figure is really all bad. They are good for some things, and bad for other things. We see this continually in the practice of astrology. A planet that is strong and in good condition -- for instance, Jupiter exalted in Cancer in an angle -- can still cause great harm if it is the significator of a disease.
This is perhaps easier to see in astrology than it is in geomancy, primarily because Geomancy may take one planet and assign two "bad" figures to it, and take another planet and assign two "good" figures to it. For instance:
Saturn: CARCER and TRISTITIA, both "bad."
Jupiter: ACQUISITIO and LAETITIA, both "good."
Really, however, the figures of SATURN just show two types of pressure or restriction -- downward pressure, like gravity (TRISTITIA) and constrictive pressure, like strangulation (CARCER). Likewise, the two figures of JUPITER just show two types of expansion: material or mental expansion (ACQUISITIO), and emotional expansion (LAETITIA).
If you are asking about natural rulerships, you can see many natural rulerships of the PLANETS in the post: REFERENCE: PLANETS.
If you are asking about natural ruelrships of the GEOMANCY FIGURES, we mention them here and there in our posts, but there is not yet a specific post about it. We will start such a post in the future.
